UPDATES, UPGRADES, REMODELING

Any remodeling to your home that improves appearance, style, updates, room additions, upgraded bathrooms or kitchens, including flooring should be reflected on your replacement cost coverage. *Recommend keeping receipts/files and pictures or video’s of upgrades.
*It is important to review your coverage annually and inform your agent of any changes you'd like to make.

HOMEOWNER’S COVERAGE

Determining the right homeowner’s coverage is estimating the replacement cost of your home. Selecting the coverage amount that will repair your home with the current replacement cost.
"Replacement cost" is the amount needed to rebuild the home to its pre-loss condition.
The replacement cost of a home is NOT the market value of the home, its purchase price or the outstanding amount of any mortgage loan and does not include the value of the land. "Market value" is the amount a buyer would pay for a home, including the land, regardless of how much it would cost to rebuild the home.
